Quick trip to Florence

We took a QUICK trip to Florence this weekend. We ate lunch at the casino and played in the sand there for a few minutes before we headed to the beach. We literally pulled in, walked to the beach, and walked straight back to the car. I was able to capture a few pictures. The wind was so strong it was knocking Gage down and we were all getting sandblasted! We went back to my parents to play and it was much more enjoyable. They ran in the sprinklers and had a blast!

Brrrrr!

What a good way to end a long day...

4th of July

For the 4th of July this year, we went to the Harrisburg Parade. There were lots of horses, firetrucks, and lots of CANDY! After the parade, there was a celebration in the park. The kids got ziplocks and got to pick up as many pennies out of the grass as they could. They thought that was so much fun! We went to Grandma Jill and Grandpa Tom's afterwards for a BBQ. Grandpa made us yummy drinks with umbrellas in them :). Then we watched fireworks. It was a fun day!

Date Week with Gage

Gage and I had a fun week of dates when Gabby was at camp. We picked strawberries, went to Megamind in the theater, Went to Chuck E Cheese, and had ice cream. It was a great week! Its amazing how different your kids can be when they have 1 on 1 time. Gage talked so much more than usual and was so joyful to be around. I enjoyed every minute with him!

Horse Camp Heaven

Gabby's definition of heaven would probably be "Horse Camp." She got to spend 5 days at camp this wear where the did crafts, trail rides, lunch and most of all riding. She rode for about 3 out of the 4 hours she was there and could have kept riding many more hours. They performed a cute routine at the end of the week that we had a blast watching. Gabby is truely passonite about horses! She talks about them daily and can't wait for the day she can have her own!

Gabby on "Willow" who was her friends shetland pony. She still talks about Willow everyday!

Photoshoot by Kayla

My kids were lucky enough to have their pictures taken by sweet talented Kayla earlier this summer. Here are some of my favorites...

Growing up so fast!

I honestly can't believe Gabby is done with preschool! The year went by way too fast as every year of her life has. She learned so much this year with Ms. Carol at Happy Hearts Christian Preschool. She made many friends that she gets to go to elementry school with as well. She is now reading at a 2nd grade level, doing simple math, patterns, and she is such a little artist! She recieved the award for "Neatly artistic" this year. I am loving watching her grow into such a little lady but it's hard admitting my baby is growing up. She is sweet, kind, intellegent, giving, and she loves JESUS! I am proud of the little girl she is and have loved every minute of being her mommy!

She was lucky enough to be the "Horse" in her performance.

Memorial Day at the Property

Every year on Memorial Day weekend, we take a trip to the Roper Property past Crescent Lake. This was a year of firsts! First time it's ever snowed while we were there (shocking during the end of May) & the first time both kids shot a gun! They had such agreat time! Gabby has pretty good aim and Gage is crazy about guns right now so he was grinning ear to ear. They had a snowball fight with what little snow was left by morning. They loved throwing snow at Grandpa Jim, Grandpa Barry & Daddy. It was a great weekend with

family and we sure love going to the Property!
