The Roper's 50th Anniversary

Happy 50th Anniversary to Jim & Kay Roper! What a day to celebrate!

They decided they wanted to renew their vows & celebrate with their family. We had such a fun day remembering the last 50 years. This is my 4th set of grandparents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary which is really rare. I feel blessed to have such great grandparents that share such a great love for one another! The Kids with their Great Grandparents

Lane County Fair

On Thursday, I took the kids to the Lane Co. Fair. I was a little hesitant on going by myself with the kids but it was actually really fun for all of us! We rode rides, pet animals, ate ice cream, and played a carnival game. Gage chose to ride the "mocha-cycle', the alligators and of coarse the ride with the guns. Gabby rode the canoes, the hot air balloons and the gun ride. They had so much fun! They played the pick a duck carnival game in hopes that Gabby would win a unicorn and sure enough, she chose the Large Prize so both kids got 2 stuffed animals. Gabby's highlight was meeting a 3 month old foal and a beautiful Morgan Stallion. Gage wasn't quite as interested in the horses as his sister. He loved watching the BMX bike tricks and the skateboard tricks. Although it was hot and a little crowded, it was a very fun day!

It's amazing how a little sugar can make everything better :)

Sunriver

My parents rented a cabin in Sunriver last week. Although we were bummed Bryce couldn't get the time off work to join us, I took the kids for 3 nights. We had a great time! We played games, went on bike rides, played at the park, hot tubbed, rode ponies, watched movies, fed deer, and ate way too much! Thanks mom and dad for a fun getaway!

Sweet little Poser!

Auntie Angela played Legos with the kids for hours!

We had 3 little triplet fawns come up to our deck! They all had their spots and were so cute!

Gabby & Gage both got to ride Pony's-Gabby rode Dottie, Gage rode Blueberry Dress up time!

Grandma bought Gage a pirate sword and Gage loves it! He had a blast whacking anything and everything!

Gage is one determined kid! He rode his little trike over 1 mile to the Nature observatory and part way back! He had an awful blister the next day but he did it! And he took a good nap that day too :)

My wonderful Mom & DadGrandma bought Gabby a little black horse. Not that Gabby needed another horse, but that's what Grandmas are for, right?
